Where Creativity Meets C9:: Challenge 11:: Embossing

There's a new Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge and it's all about creating a project showcasing embossing the amazing products available at Concord & 9th as this challenge is dedicated to the innovative stamp company and their products! You can try any embossing technique: heat embossing, dry embossing, emboss resist, etc.!

There are so many beautiful stamp sets available at Concord & 9th. I chose to work with the delicate and beautiful Wildflowers Stamp Set.

I started with a white cardstock panel where I embossed a few flower images in red and blue, and some foliage in green. I've had these colored embossing powders for years, and barely pull them out to use! I love this Wildflowers Stamp Set for this technique due to its fine, detailed images that can hold their own without coloring. I finished the card by with a black/white panel and then a heat embossed sentiment from Butterfly Beauty.

The challenge is sponsored by the fabulous Concord & 9th and one lucky random entry will receive a $25 gift certificate for a Concord & 9th shopping spree. The favorite entry will be asked to guest design for a future challenge! The challenge runs until July 29th, so there is plenty of time to pull out your favorite Concord & 9th stamps and die and create an one layer project. Plus, new Concord & 9th products were released TODAY and they are fantastic!

You can find Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge on Facebook here, and their Instragram here!

  3. What a fabulous design, Karen! Those delicate images in colors with all that easygoing kraft in the background. Then the touches of black to liven it up.
